At INDN, we blend the rich traditions of Indian cuisine with the energy and creativity of New York City. Our menu is built around elevated small plates designed for sharing, with bold regional flavors and our cocktails are just as thoughtful – spice-forward, globally inspired, and perfectly balanced. Think turmeric with tequila, or a cardamom nightcap
But INDN isn’t just a new concept, it’s the next step in a family legacy and a journey rooted inhospitality. Husband-and-wife team Simran & Kanika first made their mark with Spice Bazaar in New Jersey, a neighborhood gem known for its inventive approach to Indian cuisine. While that venture flourished, they felt the need to push boundaries even further.
Their passion for food and hospitality runs deep, especially for Kanika, whose father, Vicky Vij, owned and operated the acclaimed Bukhara Grill in NYC for over 20 years. Growing up around one of the most respected Indian restaurants, gave her a front-row seat to the magic of bringing people together through food.
Despite its world-class food scene, NYC was still missing a space that blended Indian small plates, craft cocktails, and a lively, design-forward atmosphere. INDN is their answer to that gap – a concept born from experience, family tradition, and a desire to reimagine Indian dining for today’s city.
With deep roots in hospitality and a shared love for innovation, the team have poured their hearts into every detail, from the menu and music to the lighting and layout. Their mission is simple: to create a space where people gather, flavors spark curiosity, and every night feels like something worth remembering.
Warm, bold, and buzzing with flavor, INDN invites you to sip, share, and stay awhile.
